We owned the Bontempi saxaphone for awhile til it just about fell apart, thin cheap plastic (my son certainly didn't mind though...) When I received this Little Little Toy Company trumpet I was pleasently surprised and pleased at how much thicker the plastic was and the buttons and things were really sturdy and fastened well. When I buy toys these days I don't mind paying a little more if it means it will possibly last for the next kid, well worth the extra money for this brand. Paid $25 on Amazon with free shipping.
